At Bengaluru – From Rudrapur Via Delhi

I left Rudrapur on 17th Jan via road, in an Uttrakhand RTC bus. After 7 hours I was at Delhi’s Anand Vihar Bus terminus at 6:30 AM. The bus had Air conditioning and heating system which saved me from  the freezing night cold.

From Anand Vihar boarded the Delhi Metro to Pragati Maidan. The India gate stood tall in front with all the pride and dignity. The republic day parade rehearsals were on and the whole area was covered with Army personnel. Visitors were not allowed inside the India gate and hence had to have the view from outside of the walls.

Then the Akshardham temple and Swami Narayan Mandir. By the time it was 11 AM and I had to catch a 2 PM flight to Bangalore. The metro and an auto dropped me at Dwaraka Sector 9 and at IGI Airport.

Back home at Bengaluru by 7 in the evening.
