Thank you Mr. Sudarshan..
This post is a thank note to Mr.Sudarshan, thank you sir. People like you are living examples who stand out in this otherwise greedy, dishonest and selfish world.
Mr. Sudarshan is an employee of St. John’s post office, Koramangala.
Here is the backdrop of things that happened.
Yesterday evening at around 5PM I visited St. John’s post office in Kormangala. I had to post some letters. The lone employee there, Mr. Sudarshan, was about to close the office. He hurriedly collected my letters. In the process for reasons unknown I placed my Pendrive and earphones on the table and I forgot to take them back.
It was later in the night that I realized about misplaced gizmos.
I had a bleak possibility of finding the devices on that post office table, only if I could be there before the office opening time, otherwise some one would take them.
And this morning I had been there at 9, the post office wasn’t opened yet. I peeped from the window to see if I can find them on the table. Unfortunately they weren’t there. I waited for some one to open the office.
Mr. Sudarshan arrived in 10 minutes and I followed him when he opened the locks. I enquired him about the misplaced device and said “I forgot my Pendrive and Earphones on this table” pointing towards the table.
He said he don’t know and he is not aware.
I walked out in disappointment. when I was about to cross the gate Mr.Sudarshan followed me, he was having both the devices on his hand he asked me – “Are these what you are searching for?”
My eyes glittered looking at them and I nodded happily.
He gave them to me and said “What is it called? Pendrive? I do not know what it means so I couldn’t make out what are you searching for”.
Well, I was happy and thanked him. And told him what is it used for.
Mr. Sudarshan it doesn’t matter if you know or do not know why pen drive is used for and what people do with computers. All that matters is – there are still people like you who are honest enough to return the things to them whom they belong to.

@Jason and Jo,
Thank you for the read and comment.
Thanks Venkat.. And well said.. I agree totally.
N credit for u too for writing it out n let ppl know…. A question arises… Wud he hav given it back if he did know the use of it??? Well jst a thought !!!
Thank you Pavan.. I am not quite sure about that..It takes some real gut to return something to someone when you are in real need of that thing. Somewhere i feel he would have given it back even he knew the use of it, cause i spoke to him and he is a humble person.. It really feels great to get the devices back which were with you for a long time.
Hey Keshav, nice blog.. really enjoyed reading this post!
